Our 3rd meeting took place from
18.05.2012 - 20.05.2012 on the grounds of the Strandcamping Waging am See
instead of.
Waging am See is an Upper Bavarian town with about 6400 inhabitants and is located in the picturesque Rupertiwinkel in Chiemgau, near the Chiemsee.
For the first time at our meeting there was room for contributions from our members followed by discussions. There were plenty of topics: from oil filters to homokinetic drive shafts to reworking.
In picture-book weather our exit went to the Bavarian Alps. The road led us to the first private brewery Schönram, where their master brewer told us about the art of brewing beer. From the quality of their work we could convince ourselves in a second breakfast.
We continued our way through the picturesque landscape over Bad Reichenhall, Berchtesgaden and Ramsau. Past the beautiful Hintersee we reached the mountain inn "Zipfhäusl", where we made an extensive lunch break. You only get a roast pork with dumplings including a look at the Watzmann!
Back we went downhill along some streams and meadows and via Inzell Traunstein to Waging.
We thank all participants who participated in our meeting. It was nice to spend a weekend in the company of the big "Arabella" family.
But a big thank you also goes to Sabine Barmbichler, Niki Jebinger and the entire camping team for the great support in planning and holding our meeting!
"Last but not least," we thank all Arabella friends who have contributed to the success of the meeting with their help; be it in construction and dismantling, with errands, with the production of a fire bowl, the preparation of participation certificates. Likewise, our posts, which have ensured the safety of all with their tireless efforts on our exits.
Give them all a "God blessing" and hopefully a reunion next year
